 Rebranding CONTINENTE. A brand very familiar and tiycal for the Portuguese people, CONTINENTE, putting on our shoulders a much bigger responsability and pressure to all.

 

 With a syncronized and well couverage, by the media, we manage to presente the all stores and facilities totally reframed in/and to the entire Portugal territory. The approach was considered in a rigorous Survey, on the terrain, to see how the implementation, assembly or even the installation of specific technical details could be made in the most efficient and quickly as possible. So through models 3D's, in partnership and rigorous sync with our Graphics and Industrials Designers, we present this idea and spoke personally with the client, and investors at the same time to accomplish this important and very sucessfull goal.

 

 This Competition was run in an uncommon environment, compared to the normal Contests of Idea or Architecture Competicions, because of the huge scale and diversity of partners and brands involved in the process. Developed in the heart of a great business Group, this Contest didn´t have the aspects of a regular and normal policies of an real Architecture Idea Competicion.

 Taking place inside the most important, organized and primary Company of it´s segment; all the profesionals, artists, and proposals were choose from between fifty to one hundred people, that in a second fase will be taking part in a rigourous, well demanding and very stressful enviroment, with very squeeze and thigth schedules and deadlines, guided by others profesionals and experience people that work a long time in this kind of sector.


 All my efforts, knowledge and capabilities were never be enought for this type of challenge, because of the continuous cicle and rotativity (ideas, people, teams, subjects...) that exists in this type of Companies. So I worked side by side with a variaty of Architects, specialized in a certain domain, as also Designers (Industrial, Graphics), Chief of Operations, Public Relations and others areas, in the way to reach the satisfactory and final result.

 One of the most important, if not the principal client, that provides the majority of the resources and funds to the sustainbility and prosperity of this big Group / Company, because of the diversity of brands and partners that represents and in some cases, owned; me and the group of Architects were I was inserted, came responsibles for a diversity of subjects, domains and functions, as in the office or headquarters, as in the terrain; some of them, my close friends and collegues of class and University, others that I knew from the area, working as one for a single and unique goal.


 That goal was the Rehab of the Single Brand CONTINENTE, one of the tree majors brands of Distribuicion Companies existent and operating in the market, owened by Belmiro de Azevedo, one of the most important business man in Portugal, as so the most rich personality in the country, that also is well knowned by his very carefull, responsable and racionality character in any work or business that have his signature.

 

 So, finaly our group, EuroRCG, actual HAVAS Internacional, worked and still work side by side with the people of CONTINENTE, to once again return back to the Portuguese people this single brand, that always had been there to them, which make a much bigger responsability and pressure to the entire group of profesionals envolved in the project; and with a syncronized and well couverage, by the media, we manage to presented, the all stores and facilities totally reframed in the entire Portugal territory.
